GENERAL RULES:
- The team must adhered to the spirit of healthy competition.
- A maximum of Two participants in a group is Permitted.
- The participants can be of different professional colleges,All participants should bring their respective college ID cards.
- All the necessary equipments, including extension boxes,batteries required should be brought by the contestants.Only a 3 Pin 230V AC supply will be provided.
- Participants should not step on to the arena at any point of time during the competition
- The participants will be solely responsible for the damages during competition.
- No destruction accessories should be attached to robot. Robot should not damage arena or try to immobilize other robots.
- Nothing physical or chemical objects(s) must be released from the robot during competition
- Violation of rules inside or outside the arena will lead to rejection of the robot.
- Judgment given by judges will be final.
ROBO RULES
A Registration fee of 150/- is applicable for contestants of YANTHRA 2010.A single registration is needed for PROJECT EXPO, ROBO WARS.
ROBOT SPECIFICATION:
- Dimensions: 34x34x34 cm
- Weight : 4 k.g.
- Wired or Wireless
- No IC engines are permitted.An electrical drive is preferred for the robot.
- The robot should not be constructed using ready made Lego kits, though ready made gear assemblies can be used. Robot must have proper fabrication.
- If a wireless circuit is used the robot must have a switchable dual frequency remote control.
ARENA SPECIFICATION:
- It is advisable that the robot be able to maintain best possible speed over various surfaces.
- The arena will be circular with 2 m diameter.
- Distance between the 2 robots at start will be 30 cm.Direction of robots at start will be decided at time of event.
- Arena is of white surface with black border of 5 cm thickness.
- Arena will be of plywood .
